Thank you for your talk last night. It was enlightening and enjoyable. It was good of you to do it just for the three of us.

I do feel some stress. I think it’s a combination of old age and living alone. I had a very happy marriage of 55 years. My husband and I came here together. He died in 1999. We have three children who have been married to an original spouse for over 35 years. Ours was a very happy family. I have a close relationship with these children.

I know I could be a lot worse off, but at times I feel ‘low’. I do try to do something each day with one or more people. Also I do volunteer work here at Heath. I am trying to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Before I aimed at 7-1/2 hours. I do try to smile, but I have to laugh more. I will get the book on medication. I think that will help.

I am feeling benefit from being your patient. You are unusual in that you’re concerned with mental health as well as physical health. All physicians don’t seem to have time for mental health.
