The SMCC Staff consists of Maryann, Lauren and Darina and Kristen. Here are some self written descriptions of them all.
~Maryann~
I was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ and have been married for 27 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Jersey City State University and was later employed for 5 years as a Payroll Manager for the Wall Street Investment Banking Firm of Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. We moved into the Long Valley area in 1985 and I began my employment with SMCC in 1986 as a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant. Over the years, I have worked in the therapy and insurance departments, as well as performing the function of office manager for 10 of those years. Through my years at SMCC, I was certified as a Chiropractic Assistant and recieved an award as Chiropractic Assistant of the Month in 1993 through Markson Management Services. I became a Reiki practitioner in 1997; certified as a Reiki Master in 1998; and achieved the Advanced Level for Integrated Enegry Therapy. Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, card-making, wood crafts, cross stitch, gardening and Tai Chi.
~Lauren~
Hello my name is Lauren and I am a certified CA (Chiropractic Assistant) at SMCC in Therapy, Front Desk, and some experience in insurance. I have been working here for over 3 years and enjoy every visit our patients have with us. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education - Mathematics. I was a volunteer at Hackettstown Hosptial's Physical Therapy Department for a year. I played for my high school's tennis team and made the varsity team my junoir year and also had the honor of being my varsity team's head captian my senior year.
~Darina~
Hello, my name is Darina. I have believed in Chiropractic for many years. I am trained to work in the therpay department here at Schooley's Mountian Chiropractic Center. I am also a courier at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
~Kristen~
My name is Kristen, though almost everyone calls me Krissy, or Kris. Here at Schooley's Mountain Chiropractic Center I am trained to work at Front Desk and Therapy. I am currently attending high school and am in my junior year. I am also an active member of the Peer Ministry Group for my church, St. Mark's. I received by first adjustment just minutes after birth from Dr. Jeff, based on the fact that most people receive their first subluxation at birth.
